My brother brought me to Nena's restaurant and had their pupusas. I've been back three times now and love their soups. Delicious with all the vegetables, beef or chicken.. The service was nice and the hot 'Atol de Elote' was sweet and 100% authentic. Loroco, chicharon n cheese pupusas are my favorite, the red sauce and pickled cabbage 'curtido' topping to complement the freshness to make it complete.
So authentic so kind so yummy. Love when someone puts $ into the jukebox! Grab some large beers. Order anything you want to eat. Fun easy casual good time. Pupusa with cheese is great and generous on the cheese. Tamales appetizer is wonderful and tasty. Fries are fried to a good crispiness. Shrimp is great. Cant wait to try more items. Low key comfortable place to eat.
I absolutely LOVE the Papusas here. This place makes them with just the right amount of crispy awesomeness on the outside. Truly mouth watering and so tasty!!!
We had a tasty, low-key dinner here. Good food, decent service, and a clean, casual setting. I had the two pupusas (one cheese; one pork, beans, and cheese) platter with rice and beans. The pupusas were generously sized and flavorful. In retrospect, I would have skipped the rice and beans, and I also wish I had gotten the pork and cheese pupusa without beans mixed in. The service was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa. The setting is bright, clean, and simple. Note, this place is cash only. Overall, a great spot for a tasty, no frills meal out.
Pupusas were great! Full of flavor and perfect ratio of stuffing to masa. The atole de elote was delicious! So comforting, sweet, and perfect for a cold night. Parking sucks, but it's worth it!
